DIGITAGRA 2022

We are delighted to preannounce the ISDTA 2022 (1st International Symposium on Digital Technologies in Agriculture) and DIGITAGRA 2022 (1st Satellite Workshop – Digital Agriculture in Rural Area) which will be held in December 2022, Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th in Osijek, Croatia.

The new Hybrid format of ISDTA 2022 includes face-to-face meetings and other events and the option of participating online as well.
The 1st International Symposium on Digital Technologies in Agriculture will be organized by the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Centre for Applied Life Science Healthy Food Chain Osijek, and other partners from Croatia and from across the globe.

Symposium Objectives

The 1st International Symposium on Digital Technologies in Agriculture will enhance the exchange and dissemination of knowledge, experience, ideas and results. The aim is to promote internationalization and friendships among researchers and professionals in all research fields associated with digital technologies in agriculture, with a focus on precision agriculture, agronomist education in digital agriculture, data collection and all the other aspects of digital technologies in agriculture.

The key topic of the 1st International Symposium on Digital Technologies in Agriculture will be an interdisciplinary application of technologies toward sustainable digital agriculture.

Symposium Topics

  1. Data collection
  2. Precision crop production
  3. Decision support systems and models in digital agriculture
  4. Digital technologies in agriculture
  5. Digital agroeconomic and marketing
  6. Agronomist education in digital agriculture

Papers not covered directly by the listed themes, and belonging to the field of Digital Technologies in Agriculture will be allotted to one of the listed sections.
A new Symposium Topic may be created depending on the diversity of submitted papers.

DIGITAGRA 2022 Workshop Objectives

The main purpose of the 1st Satellite Workshop Digital Agriculture in Rural Area will be:

  1. Disseminate the idea, goals and methods of digital agriculture in the rural area
  2. Discuss the opportunities and challenges for small farmers in the transformation toward digital agriculture
  3. Connecting the stakeholders in the digitalization of agriculture at local and regional levels
